Joi graduated from Moore College of Art & Design in 2008 with a BFA in Illustration. She moved to Media in 2013 for work and quickly fell in love with the borough’s walkability, public transportation access, and vibrant community—it truly felt like the hometown she had been searching for. Joi was able to embrace a car-lite lifestyle because everything she needed, from Trader Joe’s to unique gift shops and great restaurants, was just a short walk away.
Joi, a former Media Borough Councilwoman, has voted for newer sidewalks, a traffic circle and enhancing Media's Public Spaces.
