5th Sqare is about transforming Philadelphia into a more accessible, sustainable, and equitable city for everyone. I have come to know members and volunteers of 5th Square Advocacy by supporting Public Transit Funding and Housing reforms in the last few years. I am deeply honored to receive the Urbanist Changemaker of the Year Award from them as I intend to keep focus on pedestrian safety, Vision Zero, road safety and transit access in my priorities as Mayor of Media. This is also a great way to build bridges with groups who have similar goals. Someday, I hope to connect 5th Square Advocacy with Delco folks who care about transit, housing and sustainability.
